Advanced Facilitation: The Neuroscience of Leading Any Room

Facilitated by Sue Langley
+

Sue Langley runs every activity for a reason, with the science underneath it. In 25 years of facilitating she has learned to read what is happening in the brains in the room, and to choose what to do about it. This full day is where she shows you how.

You lead groups and you know your craft. This day is the layer underneath it: why groups engage, decide and commit, drawn from neuroscience, emotional intelligence and positive psychology, and turned into tangible tools you can use with your next group.

What you'll experience
The ScienceHow a group thinks, feels and decides, taught through the activities themselves
The ToolkitTangible tools from Sue's own practice, from her best mood, worst mood exercise to reading a room through facial expression and using content as connection
The PracticeLive practice with evidence-based frameworks, then the science of why they work
The EdgeHow to hold a challenging space, where people feel safe and still get stretched
You'll leave with
  • A set of moves you can run the next day, each with the science that makes it work
  • Ways to read the emotions in a room and respond with intent
  • Sharper judgement in the moment, and the language to guide a group towards what matters
Best suited to
Facilitators at every stage, leaders, coaches, consultants, and people and culture professionals. If you work with groups, this day is for you.
